Screening of “Black Gold” Today!

This afternoon at 2:30 pm in the Gilman Lounge, Phi Theta Kappa will be featuring the movie "Black Gold." This film focuses on the coffee growers of the Oromia region of southern and western Ethiopia (the birthplace of coffee) and the challenges the coffee farmers face.  The film also follows Tadesse Meskela, who is one man on a mission to save his 74,000 struggling coffee farmers from bankruptcy. As his farmers strive to harvest some of the highest quality coffee beans on the international market, Tadesse travels the world in an attempt to find buyers willing to pay a fair price.

Phi Theta Kappa will be serving coffee, drinks and popcorn.  Please join us for this important film!
