Maverick Aquatic Club to hold Learn-To-Swim Camp

The Maverick Aquatic Club at Monroe Community College is offering a Learn-To-Swim camp for swimmers of all skill levels this spring in the MCC pool.

The camp will be broken into two sessions. Session I will run on Saturdays from April 15 through May 20. There will be no classes on April 22. Registration will be on April 10.  Session II will run on Saturdays from May 27 through June 24, with registration on May 22.  Registration will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the MCC pool both nights.

The registration and payment must be done in person. The registration nights for each session will be held on a first-come, first serve basis. For future sessions, enrolled students will be able to register for subsequent sessions on the final lesson day before registration is open to the general public.

The camp will be split into four groups: Trotters, Colts, Broncos, and Mustangs.  The Trotter group is for ages 4 and up and has no skill requirements, while the other three groups do have skill requirements. The cost of the Trotter and Colt groups is $30 and the cost for the Bronco and Mustang groups is $40.

For more information on classes, swimming levels, or other details, contact Daniel S. Dubois at 292-2846.
