To kick start our Homecoming celebration, golfers and non-golfers alike are encouraged to join the Foundation as we celebrate Jeff Bartkovich’s extraordinary career at MCC during the Homecoming Luncheon and Golf Classic to be held at the end of summer session on Thursday, August 13!
Jeff’s career at MCC has spanned 24 years, during which he has been responsible for creating an innovative and high-quality learning environment that promotes academic excellence and student success. This special luncheon and golf classic will provide an opportunity for Jeff’s colleagues, friends and family to celebrate his career at MCC as it comes to a close and to thank him for his long-standing commitment to our students by raising funds to support the Educational Technology Services Scholarship Fund.
How can you participate? Register for lunch, golf or both! Tickets for both the luncheon and golf include a $25 tax-deductible gift. Luncheon only tickets are $40. Golf (nine holes) and lunch tickets are $65. Those unable to participate but wish to make an honorary gift can do so here.
We hope you will be part of this exciting event on Thursday, August 13, at Eagle Vale Golf Club, 4344 Nine Mile Point Road in Fairport, beginning at 12 noon in the Stratford Room. A hot buffet lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. and golfers will tee-off (scramble format) at 2 p.m. for nine holes of golf on Eagle Vale’s beautiful course. Led by our event sponsor Pivcon President Brett Thompson ’91 and a special Honorary Committee, our goal is to raise $6,000 in support for MCC students to continue the legacy that was started in 2001 by Jeff, staff members, friends and supporters of the then ETS Division of MCC when the Educational Technology Services Scholarship Fund was established. Since that time 16 students working in Academic Services, Instructional Technologies, and Technology Services have received scholarship support.
