News from the MCC Board of Trustees Meeting

The MCC Board of Trustees met in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center, on the Brighton Campus on Monday, February 4, 2019 and took the following actions:

  1. Accepted the Interim Financial Reports as of November 30 and December 31, 2018.
  2. Authorized the purchase of items over $20,000 as listed for the months of November and December 2018.
  3. Accepted the annual audit of Monroe Community College for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2018, as conducted by Bonadio & Co., LLP.
  4. Authorized the transfer of funds totaling $91,048.
  5. Adopted the revised "2.10 Sexual Harassment Response and Prevention Policy" in compliance with NYS Labor Law 201-g and SUNY Sexual Harassment Response and Prevention Policy Statement, effective February 4, 2019. The policy will be included on the policy web page.
  6. Conducted an Executive Session pursuant to Public Officers Law §105, subsection (e): collective negotiations pursuant to Article 14 of the Civil Service Law.

  • Bonadio & Co. regarding the College's annual audit;
  • Bonadio & Co. on financial forecast and fund balance results;
  • Associate Vice President, Student Services John Delate; Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities Amy Greer; Public Safety Chief Tony Perez; and Director of Counseling Center & Disability Services Dr. Aubrey Zamiara on The MCC Response Team: People, Process and Impact;
  • Shared Governance groups (Amanda Colosimo for Faculty Senate and Alec Waight Morabito for Student Governance Association); and
  • Chair of the MCC Foundation Board of Directors Lauren Dixon on Foundation activities.
