MCC Faculty Present at  44th Annual College Reading and Learning Association’s  Conference


"Considering All Angles: A Long Journey to Require Reading" was presented at the College Reading and Learning Association’s "Hands Across the Curriculum:  Partnerships for College Success" in San Diego, California, on November 11, 2011.  Terry Shamblin and Judi Salsburg Taylor, both of the Transitional Studies Department, provided strategic approaches, qualitative data, and the results of their pilot study involving reading in a math course (with Gary Egan, Mathematics) to participating faculty and administrators from across the United States.
