Honors Institute Leadership Opportunity

Congratulations to Honors Institute students and faculty for a successful and engaging year.  We were pleased to award the Honors Studies Certificate to nine students during Commencement.

Our Honors Institute is an important program and depends upon significant faculty leadership.  For the last five years the program was capably led by Paul D’Alessandris.  We are thankful to Scott Rudd who took on the coordinator role for the Spring 2014 term.

There were 313 course registrants during Fall 2013 and 302 in the Spring 2014 term.  There are 31 teaching faculty who support the Honors Institute.  They serve students by advising, planning, and teaching.  We currently have 22 courses on the fall master schedule.

This leadership position for the Honors Institute is currently seeking interested candidates.  If you would like to know more or would like to be considered for the coordinator role, please submit your name and a statement of interest to Sue Nupp at <"
mailto:snupp@monroecc.edu"> before June 12th to be considered.

I encourage you to visit the Honors Institute web page and to send any questions you may have.
