MCC Daily Tribune

By the Numbers. Tracking Performance and Responding to Results, Improves Outcomes.

As we move into the ninth year of the Economic Development and Innovative Workforce Services division, our objectives have not changed - to better understand our regional economy; continue building a strong regional workforce capability at MCC; and to seek and develop new and meaningful collaborations with community and industry partners to move our workforce forward.

To meet our objectives, we track our performance. Did you know:

  • More than 4,000 noncredit students were served in 2018
  • Almost 500 training sessions were conducted in 2018
  • The top industry sectors served by the Economic and Workforce Development Center are advanced manufacturing, professional services, skilled trades, healthcare, and government
  • In 2018, the Economic and Workforce Development Center provided nearly $1.2 million in high quality, skill based, subsidized training

I encourage you to learn more by reviewing the attached 2018 By the Numbers information for the Economic and Workforce Development Center.
