6th Annual Faculty Senate Professional Development Week Begins June 3rd

The Faculty Senate Professional Development Committee is pleased to announce the schedule of events for MCC's 6th annual Professional Development Week, scheduled to take place June 3rd-6th on the Brighton and Downtown Campus.

Please find the Professional Development Week program attached. The program is also available in the Professional Development Week folder of the "Awards, Professional Leaves, and Professional Development Events" section of the Faculty Senate Blackboard page.

This year's event will feature an array of programming for faculty and staff. Highlights include multiple training sessions and workshops; sessions addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion; numerous sessions aimed at improving student success in the classroom; and several workshops dedicated to personal well-being. This year's event will feature the MCC Wellness Council's Wellness Day on Wednesday, June 5th.

Please note that the Academic Advising Lunch and Rock Painting on Monday, June 3rd, requires an RSVP to Alex Campanis (acampanis001@monroecc.edu) by May 29th.

The Teaching Creativity Center's 2019 Teaching and Learning Conference, Sustaining the Professional Self, will take place on June 14th from 8:30am-2pm in Monroe A/B. You can register at this link.
