Accepting Nominations for Hanson Excellence in Teaching and MCC Excellence in Professional Service Awards


The Professional Development Committee of the Faculty Senate is welcoming nominations for these two prestigious MCC awards for the 2012/2013 academic year.

The Dr. Wesley T. Hanson Award is the highest teaching award granted by Monroe Community College. Its purpose is to honor the truly superb teaching professional.

The MCC Excellence in Professional Service Award is the highest service award granted by Monroe Community College.  Its purpose is to honor the high achievement, leadership and innovation of an individual in more of a non-teaching role.

Eligibility

Members of the faculty/non-teaching faculty who have previously completed at least eight years of service at the College are eligible for these awards.

Nominations Deadline

Nomination packets for these awards are due on  Friday, April 12, 2013 at 5pm to Heather Williams, Chair of the Professional Development Committee, Bldg. 5- 518.  Please provide 10 copies of the packet at this time.
