Conversation with the President – Rochester Cradle to Career

Monroe Community College and the United Way have been working with the Rochester City School District on a new community-based initiative to support the city students.  This effort is organized around the framework created by the nationally recognized Strive Network.  This framework assists in the creation of a civic infrastructure to support students, Cradle to Career.  It is built on four principles: shared community vision, evidence-based decision-making; collaborative action; investment and sustainability.  After initial feedback from the community, we are moving forward with community-wide discussions to create a shared community vision for Rochester.

Please join President Kress at one of two college forums around this topic.
