Media Promote MCC's New Course Offerings

In response to local workforce demands, Monroe Community College has developed about 40 new noncredit courses that will be offered beginning this fall — in subjects ranging from presentation skills and information systems security to supervisory training — to prepare individuals for career advancement and for job opportunities currently available in the Rochester region.

YNN Rochester announced the news in its Aug. 19 broadcast, and WXXI interviewed Vice President Todd Oldham on Aug. 16. Reports also appeared in The Daily Record and in the Democrat and Chronicle.

Courses begin as early as September. Class times and locations vary. For a list of courses or to register, go to www.monroecc.edu/go/FallLearning2013.
