Critical Employees, Others Required to have MCC ID or M# to Enter Campus Buildings

Entrances to the Brighton and Downtown campuses are now equipped with MCC ID scanning stations. Employees who are considered "critical" to MCC's Emergency Operations Center and those granted permission by their supervisor and divisional vice president will be required to scan their MCC ID or enter their M# prior to entering the building. Public Safety officers stationed at the two entrances will confirm if non-critical employees have the proper permission to be temporarily on the premises. Employees who do not have proper permission will not be allowed to enter the building.

The scanning stations enable Public Safety to track who is on campus and when. In that way, Facilities staff will also identify areas and offices that need to be cleaned and disinfected.

As a reminder:

  • If you are not feeling well, seek medical attention and do not come to campus.
  • If you are assigned to work remotely and have been authorized by both your supervisor and divisional vice president to come to campus, please call Public Safety at (585) 292-2911 before your arrival. The Public Safety dispatcher will need to know exactly in which office or room you will be and the duration of time that you plan to be on campus.
  • Entry to Brighton Campus buildings is limited to the Spina Administration Building, first floor (lower level sliding doors) until further notice.
  • "CLOSED" signs are posted on all other entrances.

Thank you.
