New Program: Culinary Arts A.A.S.

The College has received notification of the registration of a new program by the New York State Education Department for Fall 2021: Culinary Arts A.A.S. (HEGIS Code 5404 – SED Program Code 41583)

Program Description

Through combination of classroom and hands-on culinary laboratories, students will become proficient in culinary fundamentals and food service preparation. A graduate of the Culinary Arts Degree program will have established a basis for a career in the food service industry, and will qualify for a position as an entry-level culinary professional in a private, commercial or institutional food service operation.

Note: Within the Hospitality Management A.A.S degree – Food Service and Culinary Arts Track has been eliminated and a more intentional and dynamic culinary program has been put into place with the Culinary Arts A.A.S Degree program.
