WEP Students Still Available to Assist in your Department

Thanks to the many departments that have come forward to provide new learning environments for our student WEP workers at MCC; the feedback so far from both students and site supervisors has been overwhelmingly positive!  We are still in need of other placement sites from now until summer; please consider taking on a student WEP worker or adding additional WEP students at your site.

Looking for student helpers without having to pay them? Is your department low on funding for student workers? Just need a student to help around the office a few hours a week? Or maybe you just need some help with a temporary project or upcoming event?

Student Work Experience Program (WEP) workers are now available for permanent, temporary, and event only placements!

If your department is interested in learning more about the many benefits of having a student WEP worker assigned without having to tap into your department budget, then please contact our WEP advisor, Beatriz LeBron at 262-1759 or at <mailto:blebron@monroecc.edu">.  She is also available to schedule a 10-15 minute presentation at your next department staff meeting if interested.
