IV. ENGAGING AND MOTIVATING YOUR TEAMS: SUPERVISING BEST PRACTICES IN THE VIRTUAL AGE

Supervising staff and working with faculty is a critical role when the campus is fully functioning in-person, and it is even more important when nearly all employees are working from home. Join us for a panel of professional staff and academic leaders for this engaging conversation which will include tips on how to fully engage your teams during this virtual period. Since this session will be held over the winter break, we are going to expand the discussion to 90 minutes.

V.   ENSURING A HEALTHY SPRING SEMESTER

Since SUNY has announced there will not be any vacation breaks this spring semester, the college wants to ensure that our students, faculty, and staff still have a healthy and productive semester. This session will provide ideas generated by various departments on how to insert several wellness days throughout the semester. Join us for this interactive discussion.

Wednesday, January 20th Noon to 12:45 pm

VI.  THRIVING IN THE VIRTUAL AGE

While the promise of a vaccine will hopefully allow the college to return to face-to-face instruction and direct student service in the future, the impact of the pandemic period will remain. Join us for a discussion on current and future trends that could impact employment, and how one can be proactive and remain up-to-date in skills and perspective.

Thursday, January 21 Noon to 12:45 pm

Thanks to everyone for a productive and successful fall semester. Enjoy the holiday season.
