On Friday, April 26th, Tony Falzano, an adjunct professor in the VaPA department, presented, "Composing Grief" to a group of social and health care professionals who work with individuals grieving loss.
His presentation was part of a state wide conference sponsored by the All Inclusive Care for Children Coalition out of Central New York.
It was held at Vernon Downs and Casino, Vernon, NY.
Falzano demonstrated how writing words to existing melodies during a life changing event, helps the individual work through the grief process.
He successfully presented this workshop several years ago at the Coalition's 1st convention and was invited to return.
