TCC: Register for February's Adjunct Supper for Success - Bandwidth Recovery

Join us Monday, February 10, from 5-6:30 in Monroe B for dinner and a workshop entitled Bandwidth Recovery. Check in begins at 4:45.

Every year, the TCC chooses a theme to guide our monthly noontime conversations and June Teaching and Learning Conference. This year, we are our theme is "A Year with Bandwidth Recovery: Helping Students Recover Cognitive Resources Lost to Poverty, Racism and Social Marginalization". The author, Cia Verschelden, will be our keynote speaker on June 5. In an effort to provide programming that is convenient to our adjunct faculty, this Supper for Success will provide an overview of the book and give you an opportunity to consider how your teaching practice can help students recover bandwidth.

Eileen Radigan (HUM) will lead this interactive, informative and applicable workshop.

The Teaching and Creativity Center is pleased to invite you to the 2019-20 Suppers for Success. For most of the year, we have chosen topics around the theme of inclusion. These workshops are held on the Brighton Campus three times per semester from 5 - 6:30 pm. Following dinner, MCC faculty and staff lead informative workshops. Presenters anticipate that some participants may need to arrive late or leave early. Events are free.
