June Professional Development Workshop


SAVE THE DATE!

On June 16th the Faculty Senate is teaming up with the Department of Health and Physical Education and the Division of Science, Health and Business to bring you an exciting, yet relaxing, professional development workshop!

Faculty, staff and administration are invited to participate in a day-long professional development workshop on Friday, June 16, 2006. 

Featured speaker is Brian Luke Seaward PhD, an inspirational teacher, author and expert in the field of stress, stress management, wellness and spirituality.  His website highlights some of his accomplishments, presentations and philosophy.  (HYPERLINK "https://www.brianlukeseaward.net/"www.brianlukeseaward.net). 

Breakout sessions presented by MCC faculty experts in health and wellness.  Afternoon sessions are to feature activities including yoga, tai chi, meditation, chair massage and a labyrinth walk.  Register early; attendance limited to 200 people.

The workshop will also feature MCC experts in wellness, stress management, nutrition and life during morning breakout sessions.  Afternoon sessions allow workshop attendees to actively participate in a number of stress relieving activities.  Lunch is included and workshop attendees will receive a gift for participation.
