Cherokee Playwright and Indigenous Lawyer Mary Kathryn Nagle Visits MCC May 2-3

The Sixth Act, Creative Arts, and The School of Humanities and Social Sciences is thrilled to welcome playwright/lawyer Mary Kathryn Nagle to MCC next week. Nagle will read from her work Thursday, May 2, at 7 PM, in Monroe B, and then lead a playwriting workshop Friday, May 3, at 12 PM, also in Monroe B. She is a fierce superstar--in her art and in her work protecting tribal sovereignty. Please see her bio below. If you'd like more information and/or a PDF of her plays, please contact Maria Brandt at mbrandt@monroecc.edu. We would LOVE to see you and your students at one or both of these events!
