The Catholic Bible Study Group will be meeting again this semester on Thursdays at 12:15pm in Rm. 3-138B the same room used for Mass on Monday afternoons. To any interested students who might have missed us last semester, the group’s primary focus is to look at the Sunday Mass readings from multiple angles and hopefully develop a wider perspective on the Biblical readings especially during this Lenten Season. We not only look at what is being said but the author, history, culture and social climate of the period and how the three readings tie together. For the next few weeks there will be a special emphasis on Lenten themes in preparation for the celebration of Easter.
The group meets from 12:15pm to 1:00pm and it’s open to all interested students.
