This year, on June 2nd, MCC is hosting the 22nd annual Tour de Cure, a benefit ride for the American Diabetes Association. Last year, over 2,000 riders participated, raising over $860,000. With the event being held at MCC, I’d like to assemble a team to represent the college. There are a variety of distances: 3 miles, 15 miles, 25 miles, 40 miles, 62.5 miles, or 100 miles. I’ve participated several years – it’s been a fun experience, and is well-supported, with rest stops and many volunteers ready to help. I hope that faculty, staff, and students are interested.
