Coffey to be Keynote Speaker at Early Childhood Event on Campus Tomorrow


Associate Professor Jim Coffey, VaPA/Rochester Parent Network, will serve as the keynote speaker at the Western Regional Local Early Intervention Coordinating Council Meeting tomorrow, Oct. 7 in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center. The event will focus on serving children age zero to three with developmental concerns and/or delays. The meeting is sponsored by the Regional Early Childhood Direction Center, The Advocacy Cener, the Monroe County Department of Human & Health Services and Monroe Community College.

During his presentation, Coffey will share facts about brain development, the importance of early sensory stimulation for children and an overivew of the Rochester Parent Network.
