The Daily Record published a front-page article about a blog written by Distinguished Professor Karen Morris (Business Administration/Economics). The blog is published by Cengage Publishing Company and addresses the law behind the news. With each post, Professor Morris selects a news article that involves a topic addressed in the Business Law I or II course, and discusses the legal underpinning of the news story. For example, she has written about Facebook’s prospectus for its initial public offering, a copyright infringement case against Ivanka Trump’s shoe design business, and sanitation violations found by the NYC Health Department’s inspection of rapper Jay-Z’s night club.
