Advising Tip: Using Starfish to track fall registration

Fall course scheduling season is in full swing at MCC!

There is an advising tool available in Starfish that can be used to track how many advisees have registered. The “Not Yet Registered for Next Semester” cohort in Starfish allows advisors to easily filter for students on their caseload who have yet to schedule their fall classes. This cohort filter can be found on the My Students page in Starfish. See attached screenshot.

Advisors can use this filter to help them target advisees who may need more reminders or support regarding their fall semester plans.
