MCC Wellness Council December Events Calendar

December tends to be a busy and stressful month for many people, so the members of the MCC Wellness Council want to remind you to take care of yourself.

You'll notice on the attached December calendar that the Council isn't holding any official events this month (with the exception of the continuation of Project Zero). However, there are several activities offered on campus that may interest you and help you relax:

  • The two remaining mindfulness meditation sessions for the fall semester will be led by Donna Burke and will take place on Monday, December 11, at noon in the Library and Friday, December 15, at noon in Building 9, Room 152.
  • MCC's beautiful labyrinth, located in the MCC Dance Studio, 10-130, can be walked on Friday afternoons from 2 until 4:30 p.m.
  • A new Interfaith Prayer and Contemplation Space is open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. weekdays at the Brighton Campus in Bldg. 6, Room 343. The Downtown Campus also has an Interfaith Room in its Wellness Suite, Room 226. The DC facility can be used at any time; contact DC Public Safety for access during non-business hours.
