Monroe Community College hosts Martin Luther King Day with guest Jay Williams

The MCC Diversity Council and The Office of Student Life and Leadership Development collaborated across the campus community to help host this memorable event to invite Jay Williams (current ESPN television analyst, and former Duke University Blue Devils and Chicago Bulls Star) to our campus.

Jay Williams, roundly considered one of the most prolific college basketball players in history, became an ESPN full-time game and studio analyst in 2008, after working for the network as a commentator in 2003. Williams joined at the start of the 2014-15 season as an analyst on ESPN's College Game-Day (a popular game-of-the-week telecasts). Jay Williams is an accomplished entrepreneur and spokesperson. He is the CEO and National Director of Special Events for Rising Stars Youth Foundation and is the President and Chairman of his own company, Jay LLC.

Keeping with the theme "BEND BUT DON'T BREAK", Mr. Williams will address his book "Life is Not an Accident", referencing memoir of reinventing his life after an accident.
