Daylight Saving Time (DST)

Daylight Saving Time (DST) will begin on March 9, 2008 and will end on November 2, 2008.  The new schedule makes DST several weeks earlier than in years prior to 2007.  In 2007 ETS applied Microsoft patches to accommodate the early DST.  If you scheduled a reoccurring meeting prior to the patches being applied, you will notice your meetings are off by one hour.

How do you know if you have a DST problem?

You can check to see if you are experiencing a problem with your Outlook calendar by printing out your calendar for the March 9, 2008 – April 6, 2008 and October 26, 2008 – November 2, 2008. If your appointments are off by one hour, you will need to manually adjust these meetings.

Please call the Help Desk at extension (x4357), option 1, while on campus or 292-2000, (x 4357), option 1, if calling from off campus, and they will be able to help you if you have any questions.
