Reminder: New Catalog Change Process for Programs of Study, Course Descriptions and College Personnel Sections ONLY -- Corrections/Updates Due March 31


The Curriculum Office has implemented a new process to make the Catalog change procedure user-friendly and transparent.  Using the new Catalog Change form in the Curriculum Database will include chair/dept and supervisor/dean in the process, inform the HR office, and maintain the information in the Curriculum Database for easy access by faculty, staff and administrators.  The deadline for submissions is March 31st.

To create a proposal, go to:
https://www.monroecc.edu/go/curriculum.

Click on Create Proposals and select Catalog Change.

Attached below are the Database Quick Tips to assist you with access to the form as well as editing, saving, and submitting the proposal.  Please take the time to carefully review the 2008-2009 Catalog to identify specific additions, deletions, or corrections that do not require formal submission through the governance process.

For Academic Information/Programs of Study/Course Descriptions (Catalog pages 72-216):  Allowable corrections and updates are limited to spelling, punctuation, phone number, and corrections of errors or misprints in the Degree Programs, Course Descriptions or Program Accreditation information.

For Trustees/College Personnel (Catalog pages 268-293):  Allowable corrections and updates include additions or deletions such as: name, position title, rank, or degree awarded.
