Students Receive Leader Scholarships

Five students received scholarships during this semester's Student Leader Scholarship Reception. The event honored students who have excelled in leadership during the past year. Students must have at least a 2.25 GPA and maintain or improve their average at which they start the year. This year's students dedicated countless volunteer hours and incredible effort, and were five of the most committed students to have participated in the co-curricular program.

Receiving scholarships were Jenna Breen, Campus Activities Board coordinator; Kia Brooks, Speaker of the Senate, Student Government Association at Brighton; Valissa Perry, editor-in-chief, Monroe Doctrine; Andrew Sharp, president, Student Government Association at Brighton; and, Christopher Warren, vice president of Student Governance, Students Events and Governance Association at Damon.
