New Traffic Pattern on East Henrietta Rd.

Traffic on East Henrietta Rd. (Route 15A) from Brighton Henrietta Town Line Rd. to Crittenden Rd. (in front of MCC) is now reduced to a single lane in each direction until Sept. 1.

Crews will also be working on weekends during the summer to reconstruct the roadway, especially around the Crittenden Rd. and East Henrietta Rd. intersection.

Please allow plenty of extra travel time to safely proceed through the highway work zone, especially during peak travel times. Daily traffic reports can be accessed at <<https://www.travelinfony.com/>>

Our partners at the New York state Department of Transportation will alert the college as to planned closures of college entrances off of East Henrietta Rd. this summer. Please check the MCC Daily Tribune for future updates.

This work is part of the $8.8 million capital contract to reconstruct a section of East Henrietta Rd. and build a new access ramp extending Clay Rd. to East Henrietta Rd. Work began in November 2007 to remove the raised medians in preparation of this year’s work. The project is slated to be complete by December 2009, although traffic impacts are likely to end much earlier.
