MCC at the Puerto Rican Festival

Monroe Community College will be represented at Rochester’s 41st Annual Puerto Rican Festival that will be held this upcoming weekend (July 30th through August 1st) at the Frontier Field VIP Lot.  The MCC booth at the festival will be attended by College faculty and staff who will provide College information while increasing the presence of the College within the Latino community.  The purpose of the festival is to provide artistic and cultural events that foster the celebration of the history and heritage of people of Puerto Rican descent and to encourage integrity and understanding of the Puerto Rican culture to all residents of the Greater Rochester Community and Western New York.  The theme for this year’s Puerto Rican Festival is “Celebrating Our Generations”.

For more information about the Puerto Rican Festival, you can go to https://www.prfestival.com.  Remember to stop by the MCC Booth if you attend the festival.
