TCC (Brighton Campus): Spring Conversation #1 - Purposeful Classroom Climate

The Brighton TCC invites you to attend the first conversation of the semester as we continue to explore our theme Teaching with Purpose. This session will be facilitated by Beth Wilson (Psychology) and Renee Coleman (Psychology).

It's the beginning of the semester, and we are all assessing the climates in our classrooms. So much impacts the atmosphere that might be beyond our control (e.g., specific students and how they relate to one another, or the physical classroom space), but what purposeful steps can we take to create an optimal learning environment for all learners? Come share what you do to build rapport with your students, and pick up a few tips from others as well.

When: Monday, Feb. 4, 12:00-12:50 PM

Where: Brighton TCC (12-201)

All faculty and staff are welcome!
