PATHWAYS PROJECT

If you don't know what the League's Pathways Project is and have never heard of a RWLO or the RWLO Library, we invite you to attend this Brown Bag session. Four of your colleagues (Mike Eames, Martha Kendall, Maria Kendig, and Steven Perry) have completed the Savvy Cyber Professor course, a professional development series which introduces current and future teachers to "unique and compelling" applications of the Internet in science, mathematics, language arts, and educational technology. The Project's ultimate goal is to provide educators with Real World Learning Objects to draw on that will improve student engagement and achievement in core courses. Come hear what we've learned!

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27

IDENTITY THEFT

Skilled identity thieves use a variety of ways to gain access to your personal information. Can you prevent an identity theft? As with any crime, you cannot completely control whether you will be a victim. But you can minimize your risks by managing your personal information cautiously. This Brown Bag will talk about ways to protect your identity and help prevent you from becoming a victim of identity theft. Facilitated by Donna Pogroszewski, ETS Communications and Network Services.
