Marchese TIAA-CREF Seminar Scheduled

A seminar on the subject of “Understanding Your TIAA-CREF Pension Plan Options, Risks, and Return Potential” will be presented by Professor Joe Marchese, from the Business Administration/Economics Department, on Monday, March 30 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center, Empire Room.

Sponsored by the Faculty Association and Human Resources, the seminar is open to MCC participants enrolled in the Basic Retirement Annuity and/or Supplemental Retirement Annuity Plans with TIAA-CREF. Professor Marchese, an MCC Economics professor, financial planning specialist, and frequent WXXI radio guest on the subject of personal finance, will be discussing the return potential and risk profile of the various options offered by TIAA-CREF; including the new TIAA-CREF options introduced in 2007 for SUNY Colleges. With these new options it is now possible to do a better job of fine tuning your portfolio to meet your allocation needs. The seminar will provide participants with valuable information for making more informed choices when putting together a retirement portfolio.

Pre-registration is required. Please contact Sonja Lenhard in the Faculty Association by Outlook or at extension 2516. Thank you.
