Charlie Clarke Interviewed On Campus Safety

Barbara McKenna, managing editor of AFT On Campus, interviewed MCC Faculty Association President Charlie Clarke, Psychology, for her article, "Safe & Sound?". The article explored what colleges are doing to ensure campus safety in the wake of the Virginia Tech tragedy.

Clarke noted how MCC is "wired for safety" (emphasizing how advanced communications technology is in place) and highlighted the healthy relationship between labor and management at the college. Clarke said "The college is relatively transparent on issues of health and safety. We bring something to the committee and have instantaneous access to the general counsel."

Thanks to Donna Pogroszewski, Communications and Network Services, and Angelique Stevens, English and Philosophy, for participating in the photo.
