Arts Lecture in Library

The Leroy V. Good Library (Brighton) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a lecture Wednesday, February 15, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm., the first in its Illuminations Lecture Series for 2006.  Susan Ferrari-Rowley, Assistant Professor in the Visual and Performing Arts Department, will be speaking on “An Artistic Life and Process.” Her talk will center upon how one decides to become an artist, the different types of artistic careers and how to shape one’s chosen career, as seen through her art and life experience. The lecture will be held on the fourth floor of the library, outside of room 2-440.

Ms. Ferrari-Rowley has taught at MCC since 2000, and she is the Head of Sculpture and 3D Design. She has exhibited extensively during her career, including a current exhibit at the Burlington County College Sculpture Garden Exhibition (August 2005 – July 2006) and planned exhibits at the B.J. Spoke Gallery (March – April 2006) and the Bausch and Lomb Headquarters Gallery (date to be announced). We are delighted to present such an accomplished and gifted artist to the college community.
