Student Success Committees

During the summer of 2019, the College launched new Student Success Committees, which include five teams: Pathway Design and Student Connection, Entry & First-Year Enrichment, Learning and Progress, Student Completion and Transition, and Communication and Processes, to support the college's guided pathway initiatives and strategic enrollment plan. In an effort to be a student-ready college, committees are structured to reflect the student experience and will focus on equitable student achievement and outcomes. Teams will review college data and make recommendations on college-wide efforts to improve student engagement, retention and completion.

The Student Success Committees are designed to be cross-divisional, with faculty and staff representation from each of the College's divisions. The Student Success Committees report directly to the college vice presidents. Committee members work collaboratively to promote student success and align with the college mission, vision and core values. Teams will partner with other established groups and offices to share information and minimize duplication of efforts.

Lloyd Holmes, Vice President, Student Services

Todd Oldham, Vice President, Economic Development, Workforce and Career Technical Education

Hezekiah Simmons, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Administrative Services

Andrea Wade, Provost and Vice President, Academic Services
