SUNY Chancellor's Op-Ed on Applied Learning
Applied learning is practically a necessity, SUNY Chancellor Johnson said in a recent essay.
Preliminary data from two SUNY campuses show that internships in business, information sciences, and the visual and performing arts led SUNY students to higher-paying jobs.
"Experience counts," she said. "These experiences are central to my vision of giving all students an individualized education."
