President Clinton's Featured Meal at Reflections on Wednesday

Wednesday, October 8, 2008. President William Jefferson Clinton Day.

This menu was served at the first Clinton state dinner for the Emperor of Japan.

Menu: $9.95

White House Roof Garden Salad with garden salad dressing
Grilled Arctic Char with Wild Mushroom Risotto
Grilled fresh Asparagus

Dessert Choice of:
All American as Apple Pie
George Washington Cherry Pie
Interim President Tryee Pecan Pie

All customers will also be served Tex-Mex Chex in a snack bowl.  This is a snack mix President Bush brought with him from the Governor’s Mansion.  It is a Texas twist to an old American favorite, and the White House kitchen had to have it on hand at all times.  In addition to eating it at the White House, the President never traveled without it.

Also, all guests will receive a special departing surprise as they leave the dining room!

All customers ordering the featured presidential meal will receive a printed copy of the recipe from Chef Walter Scheib’s book, White House Chef: Eleven Years, Two Presidents, One Kitchen.
