Ferrari Rowley Exhibit at Wells College

A selection of sculpture designed by Rochester artist and MCC faculty member Susan Ferrari Rowley will be featured in the first exhibit of the 2006-2007 academic year at Wells College. The Ferrari Rowley exhibit will be on display in the String Room Gallery from September 13 through October 13, 2006. The exhibit is free and the public is cordially invited to an opening reception on Wednesday, September 13 from 7:00-9:00 pm. The reception offers an opportunity to meet the artist; refreshments will be served.

In her show statement, Ferrari Rowley writes,"The works selected for the Wells College exhibition exemplify the content of the large body of work I have been building for the last four years. I have selected works that show my range within this ongoing theme of time and space through line, plane, light, space and shadow. The underlying emotional themes are further hinted at by the shadows cast on the pieces, by the pieces themselves."

Wells College is a nationally recognized private coeducational liberal arts college located in Aurora, New York.
