Reminder: Procedure for Ad Astra Online Requests

With the restart of the academic year, the Campus Events office would like to send a reminder regarding the procedure to follow for requesting webinars, and for meeting rooms, lecture halls, computer labs (only computer labs in buildings 9 and 11) and classrooms for an event.

Please use the Ad Astra online form IF you will need the use of one and/or all of the following locations but will not require services (food, parking permits, IT assistance, etc.) or resources (tables, chairs, etc.):

  • Meeting rooms (3-113, 3-115, 3-116, 3-117, 3-118 and 10-182)
  • Lecture halls
  • Classrooms
  • Computer labs (labs only in bldg. 9 and 11)

Note: The Campus Events office does not schedule department-controlled facilities.  If a requested room is departmentally controlled, it will have a special designation in the room details or description (i.e. – “TRS Lab”, “HONORS dedicated”, “Mth only”, “ASL first”).

For submitted request forms,

  • Brighton Campus and Applied Technology Center requests will be sent to the Campus Events office for processing.  NEW! The Ad Astra Brighton online form name has been updated.  It is now titled, “Brighton Campus Event/Meeting Request”.
  • Webinar requests will be sent to Learning Resources for processing.
  • Downtown Campus classroom will go to Antonia Custodio for processing.

If you have never signed into Ad Astra or if encounter any issues accessing the system, please do not hesitate to contact a representative from the Campus Events office or Antonia Custodio.
