Dr. Lynn Bartholome elected President of Popular Culture Association

Dr. Lynn Bartholome, English and Philosophy Department, has recently been elected President of the Popular Culture Association.  One of the largest international academic organizations, the association celebrates its 33rd anniversary in 2003.  It was founded to study, thoroughly and seriously, all aspects of everyday culture worldwide.  There are over two thousand members of the PCA.

Dr. Bartholome will serve a two-year term and is the first president of the Popular Culture Association to come from a two-year college.  She also currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of The Journal of Popular Culture.
