More on the MCC Libraries’ New Database Page

As mentioned in the MCC Libraries’ “welcome back” message earlier this fall, the MCC Libraries have a new Databases and Indexes webpage (https://services.trueserials.com/CRDB/MONROECC) to help find library databases. You and your students can search for databases by general subject area to find those which might cover a topic, or by name if looking for a specific database. Once you select a database, you can search for specific items within the database by keyword, author, title, publication title, etc.

We have simplified the page based on faculty and student feedback.  Please feel free to copy and distribute the attached basic instruction sheet to your students.

In the spring we plan to introduce a new discovery service to search across all the print, media, and electronic resources available through the MCC Libraries from one search box on the library webpage. We will announce this and provide instructions in advance to help you and your students take advantage of this new service.
