2012 Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day - A Great Success!


2012 Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day event was a great success!  We have received many positive comments about the event and are looking forward to start planning for next year.

A big THANK YOU to:

·        Our Presenters: You made this year’s theme of Building Opportunity: 20 Years of Education, Empowerment, Experience an educational and engaging experience for all!

·        President, Vice Presidents, Deans and Department Chairs:  We couldn’t have done it without your contributions and support!

·        The Office of Student Life and Leadership Development: For your donation and support!

·        Sodexo: For sponsoring Breakfast and Lunch for the Brighton campuses!  Many compliments were received for the tater tots!

·        For SEEDS who donated goodie bags, items for the goodie bags, prizes for the first workshop of the day and at the lunch!

·        The Bookstore:  For your donation towards the goodie bags

·        Our Volunteers: Your dedication made everything run so smoothly and efficiently!  - Set-up/Registration, Breakfast/Lunch, Facilities, Escorts, First Aid, Command Center, Break Room, E-Lounge, and all that prep work…super job!

·        Last but not least, the TODASTWD Committee: Your dedication to making this a successful event is greatly appreciated and rewarding!
