Bob Lasch Farewell Reception June 21st 1-3 MCC Forum

After serving MCC for 18 years, please join us to celebrate the retirement of Bob Lasch, Program Coordinator of the Applied Technologies Center. Bob will be greatly missed, as he has been the face of the Precision Machining Program and a huge advocate for linking secondary education partnerships and industry related training to MCC in Advanced Manufacturing. Bob has been recognized for many awards in his time at MCC with his involvement in our community, passion for students, innovative practices and leading the charge to respond to the need of Optics Technicians in the greater Rochester region by creating the Optical Fabrication Certificate. He was given the 2015 STAR Award, a prestigious honor given by the Finger Lakes Advanced Manufacturing Enterprise (FAME) for increasing awareness of careers in advanced manufacturing for high school students. He was also a tour guide for Vice President Biden when he and his staff came to the Applied Technologies Center.

The staff of the Applied Technologies is thankful for the dedication he has given to MCC, our ATC students and making our programs here known to all in the community. Please join us on June 21st from 1-3 PM to graciously thank and wish Bob well on his upcoming retirement adventures. Dress attire is preferably Hawaiian shirt, seriously.
