Financial Literacy Month

April 2009 is National Financial Literacy Month, a month-long promotion of financial education.  What is Financial Literacy?  Financial Literacy is a person’s understanding of their own personal financial standing and knowledge of money management skills to make smart economic decisions to foster a strong personal financial foundation.

During this month, the Financial Aid Office will produce a series of articles on Financial Literacy topics, such as student borrowing, budgeting, credit cards, and Financial Literacy resources.

For more information on Financial Literacy, visit "https://financialliteracymonth.com/", produced by Money Management International, which includes "https://financialliteracymonth.com/30Steps/Default.aspx" (Thirty Steps to Financial Wellness) and "https://blog.moneymanagement.org/" (Blogging for Change), a daily blog dedicated to personal money management topics.
