Yad Vashem Educator to Speak at MCC Tomorrow


The Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project invites the college community to attend “Holocaust Denial & Anti-Semitism,” featuring guest lecturer Ephraim Kaye. Kaye is the director of international seminars for educators at Yad Vashem, home to The International School for Holocaust Studies and the Holocaust Memorial and Museum in Israel. The lecture will be held in room 8-300, on Thursday, December 3 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.

Kaye is an expert on Holocaust denial and its historical implications. He will discuss how Holocaust denial arose, the arguments against the Holocaust and will be giving proof that the Holocaust existed. Kaye holds degrees in modern Jewish history and the history of the Holocaust from Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He taught 11th and 12th grade students for 23 years and has been with Yad Vashem since 1988. He has coordinated and led over 200 international seminars with participants from over 25 countries in 10 different languages. He is the author of several books and articles. He is a frequent conference speaker.
