Register Now For Free Writing Workshop.  Take Back the News is hosting a six-week writing workshop for student survivors of sexual assault beginning March 5th.

*  Take back your voice by writing your story in your own words

*  Experience the profound effect of writing and sharing your story

*  Use writing techniques taught by college professors to develop a polished narrative essay

*  Become a part of a larger community of writers and survivors

The College Writing Project is sponsored by Take Back the News, a non-profit organization that provides alternative venues for survivors to tell their stories in their own words, and is support by the Rochester Rape Crisis Service, the English/Philosophy Department, Student Services, and MCC's chapter of the American Association of Women at Community Colleges (AAWCC).
