Take a Brain Break Week- Day Three

According to the US Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, managing stress can help you:

  • Sleep better
  • Control your weight
  • Get sick less often
  • Feel better faster when you do get sick
  • Lessen muscle tension
  • Be in a better mood
  • Get along better with family and friends

Today's stress reliever can be found right outside the Brighton campus library today between 12:00-1:30.  If you're on campus, drop by and grab a "goody bag" to get you through the rest of the week. (While supplies last.) Thank you to our contributors- Matt Lawson/First Year Experience, Sodexo, and Janet Peters/Biology Dept.

What can you look forward to with tomorrow's brain break? Adorable pets, kids, grandkids, plants... we want to see them all on our social media pages! ( Facebook , Instagram & Twitter) We'll include a link to meditation with MCC's Donna Burke, too.

Don't forget to visit our Take a Brain Break Week guide for more stress management resources.
