This past week you may have received unsolicited emails that look like they have been sent from the FBI in your inbox here at MCC or at home.
The emails you may have received will contain the following subjects.
From: {Email address generated by this worm}
Subject: (any of the following)
• hi,_ive_a_new_mail_address
• Mail delivery failed
• Registration Confirmation
• smtp mail failed
• Spam: Registration Confirmation
• Your Password
• Your IP was logged
• Paris_Hilton_&_Nicole_Richie
• You visit illegal websites
These scam emails are being cleansed by MCC’s exchange server with its anti-virus software.
Please delete the email from your inbox and then from your deleted items. Do not open the site or provide any information.
If you have any further questions, please call the help line at ext. 4357 and select option 1.
